A free shuttle service runs between the terminal building and the various car rental offices in the airport. Simply follow the signs in the arrivals hall and you will find the bus stop just outside the terminal. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes and usually takes only 5 minutes to reach the various offices. The Thrifty office is within 150 meters of the terminal, while the Dollar office is 500 meters distance away.

There is also a free shuttle service in Reykjavik, where other branches are located, that can pick up customers at their hotel or guesthouse and take them to the office at Bildhofdið.
