MEX Car Rental at Keflavik Airport

The company was founded in 1994 and is a 100% Mexican-owned enterprise. The Mex Car Rental Keflavik Airport office is located in Reykjanesbaer, which is very close to the airport. From 1st May to 30th September the office is open from Mondays to Sundays from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm.

The Mex vehicle fleet includes the Hyundai I20 and VW Jetta, the Hyundai I30 and I10, the Toyota Aygo and Honda Civic and a range of SUVs such as the Toyota Landcruiser, Hyundai ix35, Dacia Duster and Toyota Rav4.

Rental agreements include unlimited mileage. A drop-off charge for one-way rentals applies.

Reykjavik is the best place to go for family attractions. Among one of the most popular is whale-watching. Boats leave from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik, which lies just a 40-minute drive from the airport.

Like to explore nature? In the south of Iceland there are three national parks. Vatnajökull National Park is home to Dettifoss Waterfall, which lies in the north of the national park. This spectacular waterfall plunges 45 meters down into a ravine and spans 100 meters across. The area is home to several waterfalls but this one is the biggest.
